WALK The Roads To Life

Leviticus 26:13 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of  Egypt (captivity), so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians.  I broke the bars of your yoke and
enabled you to WALK with your head held high!"

I read this verse and got SO excited!  So excited by what God is doing in me and through me.  He is directing me, leading me in His way and I am following...I am following His lead by WALKING.  The eyes of my understanding are being opened to my powerful, awesome Father God in so many ways!  I am learning so much...

I am loving every time I go out daily to walk, it's turned into something way beyond just exercise...it has become my "God adventure."  My wanderings...I get excited each day to see where I'll go and what insight God will reveal to me this new day.  It's getting me out of my house, my seclusion where I have always gone when I don't feel well (which is most of the time), breathing in fresh air, taking pictures of His beautiful creation and just being in awe of my Father God and all that He created.  It gives me time to ponder and think about Him and all that He is, has done, is doing and will continue to do.  He is showing me that "I was made for more than this."

Brother Yun in "Living Water" writes, "the world cannot stop a child of God who follows & walks in obedience to His commands".  As I ponder the word WALK and God's instruction for me to do it, It seems the meaning is ever-widening.  I looked up the word "walk" in my concordance and it is scattered throughout scripture.  Paul and many others have used it to describe what our faith needs to be - an active faith.  We need to be does of the Word, not just hearers.  The word walk is a VERB, an action that we take.  I am seeing the physical act of putting my "wanderin" shoes on every day, whether I feel like it or not, is an act of obedience to God.  It's teaching me how to "step" out of my comfort zone (that I like so much!) and JUST DO IT.  It's strengthening me in these "baby steps" to take on the bigger task of walking out into the world (starting in Kona), into the calling that God is leading Michael & I toward...to be a voice for Him to the hurting and lost.  Isn't that amazing?  Isn't HE amazing?  He knows what each of us needs - we just need to quiet ourselves down, TUNE IN and LISTEN to His voice and leading and JUST DO IT.   Even when it doesn't make sense.  Do it anyway.  It will in time.  Trust Him in this.

Thank you my Father God for these times of refreshing and strengthening.  I had no idea what You were going to do once I started walking, but knew I had to do it because You told me to.  In my obedience, not only are you blessing me with the joy & adventure of these walks, and the strengthening in my physical body, but you are building me & my faith for the bigger walks in the future.  You are showing me that I can't just pray for healing and expect You to do it all for me...that I have to take action and You will meet me halfway, taking me out of these prison cells of sickness into freedom.  I WILL continue to WALK with you my God.  Amen
