Let me share a few of the highlights (I could write 3 pages worth and then some!) To start, right after I posted the last blog about my owie heart over leaving my pups, God brought my daughter Cyndy home from California,totally unexpected and a BIG surprise for me!!! She said she wanted to come and take care of our pups for us! What a special answer to my prayer - my son Nick would have taken care of them, but she will give them special loves and affection...she is their second mama. Yaaaaay!
Then we had our garage sale and God just brought lots of people here along w so many Christians! We shared our upcoming journey with them and it opened up great opportunities for contined connections. We even had a special sister in Christ, whom I'd never met before, stop and lift us up in prayer right in the middle of the garage sale w people all around! There were a few special souls who told us they were planning on supporting us monthly - I just felt so humbled and moved that they have caught the vision and mission that God placed over us for "such a time as this" and believe in us. Words could not express how much that meant to us.
We have had so many telling us how much our faith walk has influenced and encouraged them to step out in faith in their own lives. This is the most exciting part of it all...to know we are helping others to move beyond fear, into faith and take those big steps out of their boats to walk on water in the midst of their storms. Because in the storms is where Jesus is. And where Jesus is is true life.
Having a hard time containing it all ... "Our cup runneth over"
