UPDATE!

Hi everyone!  Thought I would post a quick update on the latest in our journey...

As Michael just shared, it looks like we're heading to Southern California.  We feel that God is taking us there first and then maybe onto other places, possibly still Kona for YWAM??  He is helping us to take this step by step....which is very nice of Him considering I have huge issues with leaving the security and comfort of my home to go anywhere!!  But considering my fears, I am really amazed at how peaceful I feel about this move, starting from putting our beloved home up for sale, finding a home for our Noah pup (hardest thing to do!), getting rid of over 1/2 of our stuff and then quitting my nutrition practice of 12 years!  All I can say is...IT MUST BE GOD'S supernatural provision over me because this is not ME!!!  Normally, I would be panicking over anything that threatens my safe, secure little world I have created for myself, where I am fully IN CONTROL.  (At least I like to believe I am)  HA!  God is literally blowing the roof, sides and BOTTOM off that little world of my creation and thrusting me out in the big world and believe it or not...I'M SUPER EXCITED! 

We had our home up for sale for about 7 months and with God's leading, felt we were to take it off the market and rent it.  We have a family of 6 who is very interested and going through the application process now and feel really good about them.  Michael gave his notice at work, so it's official.  His last day will be June 18th!!  Hallelujah!!  We leave end of June and arrive in Chula Vista California 1st of July.  My ex-husband Steve & his wife Peggy have a lovely townhouse there and they have offered it to us to stay for all of July.  What a huge blessing!  That will give us time to search out the area, and see what & where God wants us to go and do.  There's also a church there called Eastlake Church (the daughter church is here in Bothell where several good friends go), so we'll have a church we can get connected with right away.  (I called and found out they are very connected with the YWAM bases there in Tijuana, building houses, etc...do we call this a coincidence??  NOT!  So God!  :  )

Michael and I both feel so ready to move out of this phase of our lives and enter into this new one with God leading the way 100%.  The bible tells us we are to TRUST God and walk in His ways and leading.  How are we going to learn to trust Him if we don't give Him the opportunity to show us He is faithful and can be trusted??  I think this is the part of this whole stepping out that excites me the most...putting ourselves in a position where we are placing our lives fully in His Hands, where we have to fully rely on Him because we don't have it all figured out!  That's a first for both of us.  I believe we're going to know & experience God on a whole new level and we're ready & anxious to start!
