Passion

"He puts on righteousness as his body armor and places the helmut of salvation on his head.
He clothed himself with a robe of vengeance
and wrapped himself in a cloak
of divine passion"
Isaiah 59:17

Wow, just think if every man did that every morning, how our days would be!  Start with the righteousness of body armor instead of a cup or pot of coffee...then place the helmut of salvation on your head, not an egg muffin or bagel with cream cheese in your mouth!  Clothe yourselves with a robe of vengeance instead of driving off to work with 45 minutes of road rage and the day full of responsibility.  But ah..the last is so sweet...wrap yourself in a cloak of divine passion...oooh that's good!  It's wrapped, not put on, thrown on or hung on the body, it's WRAPPED, to protect and cover the WHOLE body.  Now that is some passion.  Just think if you could walk everyday with passion in your life, everything you do would be WITH passion.  I know that would help me through my day, don't you?  But, unfortunately, most of us don't do that.

"Modern man 59:17" definition:   He puts on the TO DO's of the day as his body armor and places the helmut of DUTY on his head.  He closes himself with a robe of RESPONSIBILITY and wraps himself in a cloak of complete EXHAUSTION.  Does that ring true?  Sadly, it is all too true for most men living today...

As men, we need to find our divine passion in life.  To wake up and have our masculinity back, open the door and have that adventure outside the concrete jungle that God created us to have.  Ask and seek God in this question for your life..."what is my holy passion?"  God tells us when we seek, we shall find.

We as men, in order to be fulfilled, GOD fulfilled, need to just find the "right clothes" to put on, amen?  AMEN!

Blessings,
Michael
