Wanted to finish out this day with a post that just expresses my thankfulness toward my Father God. He brought us here to this island for me to heal and for Michael to get his joy back and experience the adventure of life...amazing. This is truly a peace-filled place and He planted us right where we needed to be here in Kaneohe. He provided just the right space, financial provision and beauty for us to revel in and believe me...we are. I am thankful for the gift of photography that allows me to capture that beauty and share it all with you. Here are a few more things, in this day today, that I am thankful for...
- I was able to get down a few glasses of my veggie juice I juiced along with some spirulina and also a little of my homemade sauerkraut juice with beneficial bacterias to help heal my gut - have never tolerated it well before! The severe symptoms I experienced all through the night last night lifted and I had some relief today.
- Praise God that Michael had another day of working for Jim our landlord, working in the yard - he loves doing the work and it looks like it may be something he will do on an on-going basis as needed. Praise the Lord for His provision! And praise Him for Jim...such a lovely man, full of joy, grace and laughter. We appreciate him and all that he is.
- I love that every time I drive somewhere, just to go to the grocery store or my local library, there is amazing, beautiful mountains all around - such a visual delight! I am thankful for books that have been my passion all my life...I love to learn, I love knowledge, I love cracking open a new book from the library full of interesting information that I can learn from. It keeps me going in life and is a great distraction from all that ails me!
- I am so thankful that I have an amazing group of people who have committed to being my accountability and support through this process that I'm going through of healing and getting off the addictive foods permanently. I need the daily encouragement that tells me I can do this and that I really do have the strength to get through it. And they are being that for me. Their words each morning bring me delight and love - there's Jesus in the flesh right there among them.
- And last, but NOT certainly the least...my husband is who Jesus in the flesh. Full of positive thoughts and words, full of hope and joy, full of energy and so easy to be with and best of all...he truly loves the Lord with all of his heart, mind and soul. We are living in a little cracker box of a place here, together every day for most of the day and we are loving it. We are so compatible and have such love and trust for one another. We are each other's best friend and that's a gift that is not even describable in words. I love him to pieces and appreciate him every day. On top of all of that .... God gifted me with a very lovely husband to look at too. How neato is that??!!
What are the things you are thankful for today? Share them here in the comments section or on my FB page. Would love to hear from you!
Here's to a NEW day tomorrow with new opportunities to see God work out His perfect plan for each one of us who is in alignment with His will.
Amen!
Blessings,
Sue
